Spring’s freshest flavors take center stage in the latest edition of Chef Tsipi Kaplan’s popular New Year, Healthier You* series—where seasonal cooking meets feel-good eating. This vibrant menu is packed with nutrients, gut-friendly prebiotics, and anti-inflammatory ingredients, all without sacrificing flavor. Enjoy velvety asparagus soup with tarragon and ricotta crostini, a no-stir risotto loaded with leafy greens for fiber and plant-based iron, and roast chicken with harissa, leeks, arugula, and citrus-garlic yogurt sauce—rich in circulation-boosting nitrates and digestive support. For dessert? A strawberry spoon cake with fresh basil and vanilla ice cream, full of antioxidants and vitamin C. A delicious way to continue your healthy cooking journey into spring!

Creamy, dreamy, and perfect for two—this risotto-focused Date Night cooking class is all about indulgence. Under the expert guidance of Chef Andrew Laracuente, you’ll start with crisp, truffle-kissed mushroom arancini before mastering a vibrant herb lemon shrimp risotto. A Tuscan panzanella salad adds a fresh, rustic touch, and for dessert? Warm olive oil cake with honey-lemon mascarpone and fresh berries. A delicious night out—at the best table in town. (Below, Chef Andrew answers a couple of questions about the class.)
What makes risotto perfect for a “date night” activity?
Chef Andrew: Making risotto is interactive, intimate, and requires teamwork. The slow process of stirring, adding broth, and tasting together creates a great shared experience. Plus, the final dish is creamy, luxurious, and deeply satisfying—exactly what you want for a special evening.
What makes your Risotto Rendezvous class something people could never get in a restaurant?
Chef Andrew: The class isn’t just about learning a dish—it’s about creating a moment. Unlike in a restaurant, where you’re served a finished plate, here you build it from scratch, infusing it with your own touch. Plus, you’ll pick up pro tips, enjoy a hands-on experience, and leave with a sense of accomplishment—and a delicious meal.
