Calling all junior chefs for a chili-making extravaganza! Chef Lila and Chef Karen will guide kids (ages 7+) through chopping veggies, blending spices, and simmering up the perfect pot of chili—and they’ll also make a delicious cornbread to go with it—all just in time for the Maplewood Chili Cookoff* the very next day! This hands-on class gives young chefs the chance to craft a chili worthy of the town’s tastiest tradition and is a great way for them to join in on the cookoff weekend excitement!

Back by popular demand, our hands-on Bento Box class is the perfect way to explore Japanese-inspired flavors! Keep healthy habits going with this follow-up to our sold-out January class, New Year, Healthier You! Chef Tsipi Kaplan will teach you how to make fresh pita bread from scratch, creamy hummus, chicken kebabs with green tahini sauce (or a vegetarian option with veggie kebabs), fattoush salad, and finish with raspberry sorbet and dark chocolate brownies infused with a hint of cardamom and Turkish coffee.
